South Asia. ASC Mumbai Province Hosts Delegates Meet

The Association of Salesian Cooperators of Mumbai Province held two significant events in June 2024. On June 29, a Delegates Meet took place, attended by 18 delegates and 4 Provincial Council members. The Provincial, Fr Savio Silveira SDB, emphasized the need for new young vocations, active centres, and meaningful oratory work. Fr Gilbert Choondal SDB spoke on the identity and roles of delegates, discussing the history and importance of Salesian Cooperators.
On June 30, a Formation Session was conducted, led by Mr. T.K. Devasia, World Councillor for South Asia. He focused on initial and ongoing formation, exploring Salesian spirituality for cooperators. The session was attended by 125 people, including delegates, cooperators and aspirants. Future formation events and a retreat are planned for the coming months.
