In the Church with Don Bosco, for the young and the least.

The Salesian Family is part of the Church extended throughout the world, bringing together  32 officially recognised religious institutes and movements inspired by the charism and apostolic mission of the founder, St John Bosco.

We are male and female religious and lay people active in human development, education and evangelisation on behalf of the young and ordinary, people suffering financial, emotional, cultural or spiritual poverty.

United in the spirit of Don Bosco and looking to Christ, we live out our specific
apostolic missions, recognising ourselves in the "Charter of Charismatic Identity of the SF".
This document, in its final version drawn up on 8 December 2019, is divided into 5 chapters:

The 32 member Groups of the Salesian Family carry our educational and pastoral services in
Europe, Latin America, Oceania, Asia and Africa.
